beth pohlman jewelry. Beth Pohlman lives in Baltimore with her husband, two guinea pigs, and super cat.  All of her work is hand made right in her lovely little home studio. Everything is sterling silver and slightly one-of-a-kind and unique - just like you!

Bette's Bags. "One of a Kind bags made One at a Time" Bette's Bags is a mother/daughter team who design and create original one of a kind handbags, purses, totes, yoga bags, diaper bags made with a "Modern Day Dame" in mind. Each bag is made individually from start to finish with quality care and attention given to every stitch. Your bag is unique by its combination of colors, style and print, the ONLY one like it! You will never see another woman carrying YOUR bag! If another woman is carrying your bag...she stole it!

Block Party Press. I create polymer clay jewelry, accessories and home decor by carving my own stamps and adding color with acrylic paint. I also just started creating tree collages out of old catalogs and digital colored pen and ink drawings which will be available as prints, cards and other goodies.

blugrn design. I gather inspiration through my travels and surroundings (sometimes literally - little treasures gathered in my pockets) I am always looking for new ways to showcase beauty composed in harmony- From braille to shark teeth to gemstones. Carolyn Belefski and Joe Carabeo create and self-publish original art and storytelling for the comic books Curls, Kid Roxy, Black Magic Tales, and The Legettes. Carolyn makes illustrated greeting cards, notebooks, handmade plush dolls, and other merchandise that feature Curls Studio's stable of characters.

DesignsbyErdenesuren. I make cute knits of all kinds for all seasons. As environmentally friendly as possible and as artistically creative as possible. "Knits, Art, and Stuff".

EHL Creations. Polaroid transfers and emulsion lifts on foils and tile. I have original prints, enlargements, greeting cards and writing journals. Subjects range from the calm and serene to the weird and wacky!

Erica Burns Designs. Erica Burns is the creative force behind Erica Burns Designs. She has been designing one-of-a-kind hammered metal and vintage-style jewelry since 2006. Erica has recently branched out to accessories, clothing and housewares. Often inspired by nature, her work evokes the beautiful scenery of the area. She lives in the DC suburbs with her husband, two sons and the always adorable Shih Tzus Bella and Lola.

Great Sock. Sisters Joanna (The Palace of Varied Industries) and Isabel (Great Sock) Church have been both artsy and crafty for most of their lives. Thanks to a steady diet of Muppet movies, Smothers Brothers albums, and similar family favorites, we love creating slightly odd things for others to enjoy. Happily, we are capable of sharing a booth: no sibling rivalry in our crafty world!

Holland Cox. Valerie Williams is the designer behind the one-woman-shop Holland Cox. Her collection includes seven handbag styles and more than a dozen accessories, all handcrafted in the brightest and boldest fabrics. Everything at Holland Cox is always limited edition, and always made with love and care by Valerie.

Jaime Zollars. Jaime Zollars finds inspiration in Flemish painters, fairy tales, and flea markets. She paints portraits of people and places far away, dwelling on dark dilemmas and pockets of whimsical fantasy. Jaime illustrates for books, magazines, gallery walls, and her own amusement. She also chases after her one-year-old son Griffin as he chases neighborhood dogs. Were Jaime to have any leisure time, she'd most certainly spend it making fanciful paper toys for one and all.

Moonlight Bindery. I am a classically trained bookbinder who mixes my traditional skills with fun and funky materials. The books I create are made from LEGO ® pieces, Shrinky Dinks ®, cork, wallpaper scraps, unique papers and bookcloth. My product line also includes: journals, moleskines, address books, photo albums, guest books, and wine journals. The antique presses and vintage fonts I have collected in my home-based studio inspire my creativity. Custom work is my specialty - I can make a book out of ANYTHING!

My UglyKitty. Renee de Sibour, a 9-5er with an over-active creative twitch, and her "adorkable" kitty Quasi, who has a similar more-sneeze-less-creative twitch make up the creative team behind My UglyKitty. Together they wreak havoc on kitchen tables trying to perfect Gocco'd stationary, going on "sewing adventures," and trying to turn junk mail into functional works of art. Since 2005, they have built a reputation for creating exquisite custom screen printed invitations, unique housewase, and Quasi's claim to fame, the UglyKitty Fund, which has helped raise over $2,000 for the local animal shelter.

Ninnycat Crochet. Crafty Wiccan Pastry Chef. Vanessa studied art at the High School of Art & Design and The Art Students League, both in New York City. Currently, she resides in Washington, DC, working on her crocheted accessories business, Ninnycat Crochet, and starting on Ninny Honeybee, an online organic bakery. Vanessa has been practicing the Wiccan Craft since she was eight, the Crafting Craft since she was four and the Pastry Craft for six years.

Novelty Kitten. Shayne Rioux and her cat Patsy are the evil mistressminds behind Novelty Kitten. They live in the DC suburbs with the rest of the family (husband, kid, a pug, two other cats and a hamster). Shayne enjoys dabbling in a variety of craft mediums, but favorites include embroidery, sewing, fuse bead portraiture and designing silly pins and cards. Pear & Peacock strives to lessen its impact on the environment. Phil Barbato. I love making creatures that bring people joy - ugly, cute, fuzzy, cuddly, bite-size joy in a squishy package they can cherish forever. I work within constraints of my own design (repeatable shapes, fabrics that are easy to work with, manageable sizes) so I can explore relationships in color and texture, and still produce efficiently. I enjoy pushing contrasts, trying new materials, and challenging a gender role or two along the way. When something I've made makes me happy (deep, guttural, warm bubbles happy) and I can't explain exactly why it does, I know I've done it right.

See Katie Sew. See Katie Sew offers a variety of products from handbags and accessories to quilts. I love to combine vintage and recycled material with new fabrics. Many of my items are made with pieces of thrifted skirts and fabrics. This ensures one of a kind pieces and all of my items are made from my own original patterns.

SHN Handmade. A school teacher, Libertarian, NJ native, and a pastry chef gone indie craftster, Tiffany is the proprietor of  SecondHandNews. Her handmade journey began as a small child when she spent many an evening at the kitchen table stringing beads with her late grandmother. Tiffany is also the author of secondhandnews.blogspot.com. Space Moderne. Michele Banks is a self-taught artist working in watercolor and collage. She lives in Washington DC and loves coffee, Bjork and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This Little Piggy. This Little Piggy hand-decoupages all of her ceramic piggy banks with premium papers from her little bungalow in Arlington, Virginia. Owner Jessica Blaszczak's main goal is to bring smiles to children's faces while inspiring each and everyone to save a little money in an enjoyable way. You never know when you'll need some change.

With a background in fine arts and a passion for fiber, Melissa Yoder Ricks loves to spin, dye, knit, weave, felt, crochet and combine some or all of the above into unique creations!
